My woodland animal themed quilt is super! Surprisingly warm, these cute little animals have all been carefully put together, to make a snuggly place to hibernate! Ideal to fold up and take out with you in the car when going on holiday – you never know when you might need some extra warmth. For my 18th birthday, I received my lovely Hellcatcraft quilt. I took it off to university and it's stayed with me ever since. It was made with my favourite colours and on the back it's embellished with some parts of my best old sports T-Shirts. To my surprise there were additional fabric 'dudes' - 5 illustrations of strapping (shirtless) men, including a rock climber and a lumberjack. What more could you want on a quilt? It's now my best party trick - revealing the 'dudes' to my friends. Receiving a hand made quilt from my Auntie Helen was by far the kindest gift I could have received when I left for university. I couldn’t be more delighted with my Helcatcraft quilt. Taking pride of place at the end of my bed, Helen has captured the colours and style of my bedroom perfectly. The beautiful fabrics and patterns that she carefully put together, compliment the other fabrics and furniture in the room. Helen’s work is inspired…where she finds the unusual fabrics and prints I’ve no idea, but she brings them all together in perfect harmony. The unusual peacock fabric used on the reserve of my quilt, is a stunning example of this. It’s simply out of this world – I’ve never seen anything like it before.
