Learn To Sew on Our Courses

We have finally taken the plunge and started teaching courses here in the Marlborough Workshop (all fully insured and Covid-secure of course).

Our first course was a hive of activity as a complete beginner and a lady who hadn't touched her sewing machine in 7 years (!) copied The Sewing Bee and sewed like mad for nearly 4 hours to complete a strippy patchwork cushion.

We had a lovely break halfway through in the sunshine with Millionaire's Shortbread and gallons of tea, then back to the thunder of the machines!

The smiles at the end show how much fun was had by all and I absolutely LOVED it. Both ladies said their families could not believe how brilliant their sewing was.
